The Portakit 2 RC4 burglar-proof steel door from Metal Quartz is a high-security door designed to offer optimal resistance to attempted break-ins. Compliant with standard EN 1627-1630, it achieves RC4 class, ensuring effective protection against criminal-level mechanical attacks (crowbar, pry bar, drill, etc.).

Entirely custom-made, the RC4 burglar-proof steel door is available in solid or semi-glazed versions, with fillings adapted to the requirements of the project. It can be configured as a single-leaf door with hinges on one side or the opposite side, depending on the constraints of the site.
It offers numerous combinable options, such as an anti-panic function (EN 179 or EN 1125), allowing for rapid evacuation in case of emergency. A wide range of accessories allows for the integration of door closers, electromagnetic locks, access controls, mechanical or electric locks, and other compatible equipment.
This “Portakit 2” is also equipped with multi-point security locks, with up to nine compliant variants available.

As a result, it is not suitable for securing people in a panic room or in a shelter against armed threats. For this type of configuration, it is essential to choose a bulletproof armored door (EN 1522-1523 certified) offering at least FB4 to FB6 level, or even AK47 depending on the identified threat: we offer a wide range of ballistic protection solutions with other products.
